Curious: although I love my cycling-specific jerseys, socks, shoes, shades,
and caps, I find cutoff khakis -- loose cut, high waist -- more comfortable
for rides up to 30 miles (at least) than any cycling specific but not lycra
short I've tried, and that includes the older MUSA one. Worn over loose,
low crotch, high rise waist boxers, of course.

What makes these things better for cycling?
