I seem to recall a post on this list that said the best way to sell (or
advertise) Riv was to let someone ride your Riv.

Well, I was riding with a friend who hadn't biked in a year, and she was
getting faint on her Jamis commuter so we stopped and then got some coffee.
On the way back, she comments about how pretty my QB is, and since she's
slightly taller than me, I figure she can ride my bike without having me
readjust the saddle size.

I nearly didn't get my QB back. :) She was surprised by how stable the QB
was (it was a bit lighter and had skinnier tires than hers) and rode it
again and again and "just one more time around the parking lot? please?"

Seriously, though, it was fun watching someone discover the joys of a Riv
bike for the first time. It's like a lightbulbs/fireworks/amazeballs
moment.

So would it be risky if I told her she could ride the QB while I rode AHH
next time we go biking? (I would point her to the Riv site first,
naturally...)
