If you use Centerpulls then you can make sure you have slotted cable hangars and you can unhook and remove the brakes without needing splitters. Then you just have to do new runs for the new bars. You do need enjoy barrel adjusters and straddle carriers (what are those called!).
If you use stem shifters, just unbolt, rebolt. Downtubes, nothing!
