This kind of thread is always fun, I love seeing everyone's list so here's mine.
Home: 60cm Riv Saluki, canti, albatrossed 1x8, primary commuter, primary all around... 56cm Riv Bombadil, Nitto Dirt Drop's, 3x8, currently sporting 2.25 knobbies but waiting for a set of the new Compass 650bx48mm tires after which I expect to get it out quite a bit more 61cm Bob Jackson, noodle go fast, 700cx32 tires w/a nice Phil 48H 120mm rear wheel. Tall and nimble, feels quick. 59cm XO-3, re-build pending putting some time into it, moustache bar eno-centric single speed build is the target...I'm starting to think 4 is to many to use regularly but need to have 4 actually built to come to a conclusion. 60cm Trek 6xx, bare frame/fork... notionally it's a frame I'll play around w/ brazing on if I get around to that project Burly Bossa Nova Tandem, 700C converted w/ Compass 38mm tires, Bruce Gordon racks... just got berthoud fenders to mount up Motobecane Mirage Mixte, townie build for my wife. My first self-build. (going to be replaced by a 52cm Orange Clementine this fall! 52cm Bianchi Brava, 8spd 105 build kit w/ drops and brifters. My wife's favorite bike and she won't let me put tires bigger than 25mm on it... ~50cm MB-3, Albatross, Big Ben's, killer commuter setup... doesn't get alot of use as my wife doesn't like the bar end shifters. Campsite (in the woods): Large Rockhopper, bullmoose bars, 3x7spd Medium MB-5, Bosco bars, 3x7 spd Mom's House (NC Lake): Univega 26" Tandem, flat bars, 3x8 spd, fun and easy. Whew... think thats it. I'd love to swap out the old 26er mtb's at camp for a fatbike or two someday and my wife's MB-3 will likely go to camp or get sold off once the Clementine arrives. Unless my daily routine changed a bunch I can't see myself getting away from the Saluki/Bombadil main two bikes. Maybe a travel oriented bike, maybe I get the XO-3 coupled to fill that niche... who knows! :) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
