Hey Riv folks, I have a new (as in zero miles) 58 cm Fuji Connoisseur that I'd like to sell, at what I think is the extremely attractive price of $495. This is a "retro" inspired modern bike with Reynolds steel frame, downtube shifters, long reach brakes and other Riv-ish goodies. These sold for just shy of $1,000 in the Performance catalog, then were reduced to $700 when I saw them being closed out. I noticed the bare frames on closeout at Nashbar for $400, but they are long gone now. I purchased this one at the Performance store in Chapel Hill, NC, home of Performance. It had been used in a photo shoot, then kicked around the warehouse for a couple of years until I bought it late last fall. I purchased it for a friend, being far too big for me, but his wife banned the new bike acquisition, so I'd like to get it out of my garage. Absolutely new, never ridden, with the only known issues a couple of minor scuffs in the paint and on the saddle corners from kicking around the Performance warehouse.

Great commute bike with braze-ons for a rack and plenty of room for chunky tires. Priced at $495 + shipping, or can be picked up in the Raleigh, NC area. I prefer to have the bike packed and shipped by an LBS, to minimize hassle and risk. I called a local shop who quoted $35 for packing, including all materials. Someone please buy this, honestly it's a surprisingly nice bike for less than $500!
