I'll second everything Alan just said. We stopped in yesterday too, for
the first time. We started our day driving down to College Park (from
Harrisburg), so that my wife could test-ride the Betty Foy at College Park
Bicycles. It ended up being a little too small, but still a beautiful
bike. After a few hours at the DC Pen Show in Tyson's Corner (fountain
pens, anyone?), we made our way to Frederick, so that we could visit Gravel
and Grind.

We had some fantastic iced coffee, good conversation with the owners, and I
picked up a pair of Compass Stampede Pass tires, coffee beans and some
socks for my wife.

James (one of the owners) said they were planning a "Classic Bike Show and
Swap" on 27-Sep (http://gravelandgrind.com/basketful-rad-stuff/). I think
we'll try to make it down for that.
