Apologies if this is too off-topic, but this afternoon I stumbled on Lotus Pedal (www.lotus-pedal.com), a new bike shop that just opened in Old Town Alexandria. It's heavy with Linus and Pashley bikes, pushes Brooks saddles, and is aimed chiefly at the burgeoning women riders market. Amanda, the manager, is very enthusiastic and, of course, an avid cyclist. If any of you happen to be on King Street in the near future, it's worth checking out. Kevin
