I think the ride from DC to Gravel and Grind, if it were round trip, would approach if not surpass a century(!), no? Another option could be to look into some of the nearby loops in and around Frederick, and simply use Gravel and Grind as a rally point. the Frederick Pedalers <http://frederickpedalers.org/wp1/cue-sheets/> have staked out some nice rides. Again, not sure if I will be in town, but if so, perhaps we can use this thread to join up in a few weeks? By the way, tomorrow, I will be doing the Covered Bridges 50 <http://frederickpedalers.org/docs/cue_covered_bridges_get_stoned.pdf> mile ride with some friends, and may stop at Gravel and Grind to say hi.
