Thanks so much to the folks here who alerted us the Bike Index! I wasn't aware of the merging of the two services and I have just finished registering all of my family's bikes. It would be so awesome if this Saluki is returned to the owner with the help of this group, I hope that we will get an update. As an aside, I can't believe that some owners don't record their serial numbers, let alone register them locally or nationally. I sent mine in to Riv when they were offering a registration service a while back, but I don't know if that is being maintained; haven't heard anything about it. I tried to register my Bleriot on the old Bleriot datebase, but it appears that it is now defunct. My frame is on there, but registered under the previous owner's name.
