I remain a huge fan of shoes from Chrome, particularly the Kursk and the Dresden (the latter is no longer made but you can find it sometimes online at closeout) The sole is stiff enough to provide support and the insole is among the best [factory-made] I've ever worn. I have several pairs of the Kursk and love them. If you have very wide feet, they may not fit; but for my skinny yardstick feet they're just about perfect. Beth Hamon
