Yes, they are Velocity Dyad rims. I found mounting them very easy. I didn't 
need tire levers, just rolled on with a little grunt and both thumbs. 
Definitely far from the most difficult tire I've mounted. 

I've had challenges mounting tires to Velocity Deep-V rims, but the tires 
were 23-35mm road tires with some kind of kevlar flat protection. Pretty 
much the absolute worst tire/rim combo. Massive heavy rim and dead lifeless 
kevlar tire. I shudder when I think of riding that again.
