In that vein, here's a reply to the same post from a friend: "Nicely said Eric.I too wear a helmet every time I'm on my bike! I definitely advocate wearing helmets for any type of riding. I worked in transplantation for 10 years and I assure you we had several donors because of the choice not to wear a helmet. I will never forget a donor we had who fell on a local bike path. I will never forget her because I saw her riding without her helmet while I was on the same bike path on my way home. I went home and was called back into work because we were transplanting her organs. :(. Kelly"
