Interesting, Thanks for posting! Despite it being an exciting bike, I don't like descriptions for bikes over $2000 that lack the following specificity in their descriptions:

-photo of the drive side
-info on chainring sizes
-info on numbers of teeth in the 9-speed cassette
-frame size

Too bad it doesn't have cantis. If super-long is a good thing (I still haven't tried it), I'm guessing the new Joe Appaloosa will surpass the proto-Appaloosas due to the fatter tires they'll allow. In my opinion, they'll look better too with no rear tentacles and parallel-2T instead of diagonal. Still, I'll bet that proto is an amazing bike. Although, the uprightness might not be optimized with the Cambium saddle.
