Come to think of it, I don't think I've seen any photos of this rack used with fenders. I think I can gain enough space by drilling out the rivets and relocating the stays to the outside. I'm going to wait until my fenders get here before I try, though. Not a big deal. As I said, I bought this rack to experiment with and modify anyway. I had originally hoped to change the way the struts attach at the *bottom*, in order to change the geometry and shift the deck forward, to take advantage of the long stays, rather than sit directly above the rear axle. I haven't called RBWHQ to ask, but I'll bet that the Longboy eventually gets re-stocked.
