I wonder what the fender material has to do with it since I never "just grab hold of it, yank in the direction you want and clamp it down". I use a spacer to support the fender where I want it to get the fender line I want (as long as the frame is not in the way). Is the use of spacers to adjust fit really beyond your comprehension, or are you being willfully obtuse?
