Update on Thunder Burts: I've ridden the "light skin" TBs for about a week now and have been surprised how much more supple they are than even the "snake skin". THat's testing them out on the gnarly frozen slush on a walking trail, so it's rougher than most and they are noticeably smoother than the snake skin casing. No flats for a year on the snake skin for me last year, so I'll see what they do this year. But ordering from Germany is well worth it. For six tires we paid $36.33 a tire including shipping from http://www.bike-discount.de.
