My son is approaching my height (he'll turn 15 in May).  This is a pleasant 
surprise because his mom is not-tall.  If he gets close enough to my 
height, all of a sudden my stable can do double-duty.  It might be a while 
before he buys a bike that I can borrow, but for the short term, when my 
wife complains that I have 10 bikes, I can handwave and say that only 7 are 
mine and 3 are my son's.  :-)
