It's possible. Riv had a thing on their Instagram where they made a pump peg out of a p clamp and a short/sharpened rack strut. It's placed at the top of the seat stay, and the other end of the pump either uses the qr or the rear corner. I copied and its working great. Out of the way, less noticeable.
