Hello Eric, Hope the Piccolo and tandem work out for you. I had the same set up when my two sons were younger, but I've sold the Piccolo since they out grew it. I always liked the bull moose rack which comes with the Piccolo, very stable and a much better mounting system than attaching to the seat post like other trailer bikes do.
