Thanks for posting this! I have a pair of these pedals (taken off an 
Appaloosa build by my LBS), and will definitely check the dust covers for 
tightness and apply fixative if necessary. I really like these pedals, btw. 
They're really smooth and comfortable, and the pins are grippy without 
being painful through the ultra-thin shoe soles I generally wear. 

I believe a titanium axle upgrade is available for them. Just what we need 
for a better life here on the Reservation.
