Front!! I did the Oregon Outback, a trans-Washington tour, and dozens of weekend s24o's and winter camping trips with my Atlantis and Nitto Campee front rack with Ortlieb Roller Plus panniers and a Wald basket (or Swift Ozette bag). Works wonderfully. It just handles so well. Sometimes I'd have a Carradice Camper saddlebag on the back as well if I needed some extra cargo room.
