I was reading Grant's blahg with a good sounding recipe for diabetic-friendly pumpkin pie. There is no place to respond on the blahg so I'm posting here, apologies for the off topic.
Xylitol is very toxic to dogs, it can cause hypoglycemia and liver failure. Im not writing this to be alarmist but if someone isn't familiar with it and leaves baked goods around or shares them with Fido, it can result in catastrophic health issues for the dog.
