That hits way too close to home.  Like an hour's drive from where i am now, and 
where i spent a good quarter of my life, close.  I do a group tour every other 
year or so, that often criss-crosses in and out of montana.  I suspect the bill 
wont go anywhere for obvious legal and federal funding reasons, but it sadly 
points out the type of ignorance we still deal with.  Once, at a pre-tour 
safety meeting, one of our own state troopers (wyoming) gave a talk.  He said 
that, in preparation, he "read the rules" and had been surprised to learn that 
cyclists have the same priveleges and are subject to the same laws as motorists.
