That is a nice review and nice to see. I think with all the new bikes Riv's been introducing, the Hillborne's gotten a bit overshadowed or forgotten lately (I could be wrong). I love mine and, although I occasionally feel the tug of a different Riv (650b Hunq), it supports most of the riding I do in the most enjoyable and comfortable way I can imagine. It was interesting what Grant said in the article about V-brakes and canti's. I have a canti-Sam and always wondered why they changed later Sams to sidepulls. Now I get the impression that it was to differentiate it more from bikes like the Atlantis (and now, Appaloosa).
