Don't do it! My wife and I live in a small one bedroom and I built a 2x4 double decker bike holder that keeps 4 bikes. All situations are different, but a wall mount can do wonders. It may be worth the security deposit hit to put some holes in the wall to avoid the regret of selling a crazy great bicycle! Take this all knowing I'm half jesting. Good luck.
