This gorgeous bike has been hanging up in the bike room for far too long—it’s
time to get some sunshine in its spokes, but I’m currently riding other bikes
and this one just doesn’t seem able to find a spot in the rotation.

I bought this bike as a Frame/Fork about ten years ago, and have had many
hugely enjoyable rides on it. Built by Joe Starck and painted by Joe Bell, it
rides very well—comfortable enough for all-day efforts if that’s what you like,
or great for short rides to the coffee shop.

Some details:

— Joe Starck-built frame with Richard Each-designed lugs. Interesting “open”
fork crown (see photos)
— Almost all Campagnolo: Record hubs, Centaur cranks (50/34 compact), Chorus
brakes and derailleurs, Titanium seatpost
— 9-speed drivetrain
— Silver shifters (downtube friction) Note that I have a pair of Chorus Ergo
levers that I can include with the bike if you don’t want friction downtube
levers. Let me know and we can adjust the price accordingly.
— Origin8 brake levers
— Wheels built with Velocity Aerohead rims on Record hubs with Record skewers
— Compass Stampede Pass tires (almost new)
— Nitto stem and Noodle bars, with new tape.
— Brooks B17 special saddle (large copper rivets)

Measurements:

Seat tube: 56 C-C, 57.5 C-T
Top tube: 58 C-C
Standover: 83 cm
Bars: 44 wide C-C
Stem: 110 mm

Price, including shipping in the CONUS: $1,450

Not included in the price are the seat bag and pedals. If you want those, we
can work out a price.

DISCLAIMER: The only item on the bike that is not 100% is the stem, which is
stuck in the steerer and will require some persuasion to come out (it has
happened before, and I took it to a LBS). I’ve reduced the price to cover the
cost of taking it to your local shop or to cover your own time and effort.
