Also worth noting that there are now two Smart Sam tire treads. The older is great, I've had it on two bikes, and it's the one Riv recommends. The new one is modern looking and looks a lot like the Maxxis Crossmark II. I haven't seen it in person but I don't think the centerline is continuous anymore.
