There was a discussion on the Classic Rendezvous list about this last year, with a lot of complaining about tightening the bolts on two-bolt Campy saddle clamps even with the Campagnolo spanner. The consensus judgement was that the best tool was something like this:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/1pc-8-24mm-Flexible-Head-Ratchet-Spanner-Ratcheting-Socket-Wrenches-Metric-Tools-/131938607269 <https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-zt-aRN0FdwY/WNwquo03zzI/AAAAAAAAAdU/lak-5fAYhZIRzsfRAS927-wrO7it3HFJACLcB/s1600/flexhead_ratchet.jpg> The flexible head allows you to bend the tool under the saddle skirt, and the ratchet means you don't have to keep removing-repositioning-replacing the tool. The right size for the Campagnolo bolts is 10mm. I use the Campagnolo seat posts on several bikes, but I have the advantage of using mostly Selle An-Atomica slotted saddles. I can just stick a 3-way socket tool through the slot, and tighten directly from the top. The two-position clamp is helpful with SA-A saddles, because the rails often bend. Regular clamps tend to clamp right on top of the bend, so the clamp never completely tightens. As you ride, the clamp loosens up. The Campy clamp allows me to get on either side of the bend point, and clamp down hard. Thomson, however, is the absolute best seatpost made, as long as the cost/fit/aesthetics aren't a barrier. My daily rider (1971 Raleigh International with Bruce Gordon F+R racks) is currently wearing a Thomson setback post I had lying around, after I got sick of retightening the clamp on the SR I pulled off.
