Measuring the width across the back would distinguish between them.

The rails are steel, and I believe this is the Aspin model. I am not familiar with the line at all and my initial search for info didn't turn up anything. Once I got onto Boulder Bikes I had a better idea. If there is a way to positively identify it, let me know. Aside from "Gilles Berthoud" and "Brevet Depose" there are no model numbers or names I can find.
