I should add that gusty, ever changing winds are a trick and I definitely feel the rapid depletion of brain energy from them. But for the most part those types of winds are short lived, happening in specific geographies only under specific conditions. Winds like the boomer sucking air up to the stratosphere are steady and predictable, even in canyons. But there is no doubt a variable threshold to sensitivity of such things.
