these came with, not on, a specialized expedition i recently bought (and im supposed to be getting rid of bikes). condition is structurally great, cosmetically decent. no dents or damage, but some of the paint has rubbed off where things have been attached, as you'd expect. part of me wants to keep them and have them powdercoated a different color, but i know i wont get around to that. the rear upper struts are a bit baffling. i dont understand how they adjust, and if they dont adjust, i dont understand why they arent just brazed onto the rack. Also, with the rear, the dropout struts have a little bendable adjustment, but i think this will work much easier on a bike with 126-130mm rear spacing rather than 135. On the front, the distance from the dropout mount to the midfork slot is 7.5-8.2 inches, depending on where in the slot you mount. little adaptor plates can be bought to make most midfork eyelets work.
