I have decided to take the plunge into the world of leather saddles with the
purchase of a Brooks B17. I am in search of one now and decided to buy used.
There is a variety of information regarding proper break in. I have read using
mink oil, baseball glove oil and various other methods some of which seem like
gimmicks. I am more into the keep it simple approach of applying a good
reputable oil and simply going out and riding. The only way to break it in is
time. Can anyone share their real world experience with breaking in a leather
saddle?
