He actually says "not good for 10 or 11”, and I suspect Grant is practicing a bit of 'liability speak' so you can't yell at him for dropping your 11-speed chain between rings on his cranks. My Silver double-plus-guard shifts great with a 9-speed chain, I think you'll be ok with a 10.
