Hi Steve, et al. Here is a ride that starts and ends about 3 minutes ride from the train station in Cold Spring. A good portion of this ride is on beautiful dirt roads, including Lane Gate, Indian Brook, Old Albany Post, Long Hill, Old Forge, parts of Wiccoppee, and East Mountain South (the up part in this direction.) I sometimes throw in the super steep Sunrise Hill climb, which puts the total elevation gain, according to Mapmyride, at just about 6,000 feet in just over 40 miles.
