I owned a bunch of motorcycles in the seventies and eighties. I switched to
cycling because I was an idiot and couldn't ride slow. My all time favorite
was a DT175 Yamaha dual sport. I liked it better than the 500cc bikes I
had. It was light, fast and simple and when I converted it to a cafe bike
it railed corners. Yamaha is rated currently (according to the Ninnernet)
the most reliable brand available. I would suggest any of the DT bikes, if
you can deal with the air pollution two strokes put out.
