It's really not hard at all to disconnect a dynamo hub, but I still prefer to avoid it if at all possible. I'll lay the bike down in the back of my truck, rather than remove the wheel & clamp the fork in the bike carrier. Sounds ridiculous I know, but there's just that small amount of hassle I choose to avoid.
