Hello All,

I've had the Tioga Surefoot pedals on my quickbeam for about 1250
miles now, and I've noticed that they aren't spiining super - smooth
anymore. The drive side pedal is decent, as it spins relatively nicely
but could be better, but the non - drive pedal will only go around a
few times with a hard flick and makes a metal - on - metal grinding
noise.

I also noticed some play in the pedals on the axle, with again the non
- drive being worse than the drive - side. When I remove the dustcaps,
the non - drive has a great deal of lateral movement, whereas the
drive has hardly any. Is this normal, and if not, how can it be fixed?

Any tips or links to references on general pedal maintenance would be
appreciated, thanks.
