Thank you to the original poster for sharing this. It's important to remember we are constantly voting with our dollars. This, and the "Hail Mary" plea from Rivendell remind me why I chose to buy a Rivendell in the first place. As a teenager, I really wanted an Ibis bike - I didn't have any money, didn't buy one, and Ibis went out of business. In my twenties, I really wanted a Kogswell - I didn't have any money, didn't buy one, and Kogswell went out of business. In my thirties, I really wanted a Rivendell. Finally I had money and bought one! I didn't need one, but I like the company and their bikes and am happy to spend my money there.
