Btw, there was a relevant discussion at

listing a whole bunch of other tires. Ritchey ZEDs get high marks, but
are no longer made (?), and probably don't roll that well on pavement.
The Specialized Borough XC Pro 45mm seem to run very narrow (acc. to
one poster), making them much less attractive, IMO.
