Hello Tom, I am a confessed wheel junkie. I do swap wheels often and have 5 sets for my 2 disc brake bikes and many for both 700c, 650b, and 26” Rivish bikes. Light wheels have the thinnest tires and wide have fatter tires. Like Bill, this also means buying a frame is easy because I already have wheels and other parts ready to build. Some of my best days are when I have a few hours to swap wheels and ride 5 different bikes with different setups. I do enjoy wrenching a lot though. Once I have a frame/wheel/tire combo dialed in, I swap bars or the season changes and I can start over. Have too many bikes means I almost always have some to ride and wrench to keep me happy.
