Very nice bike, and a nice deal, too.

Theoretically, the center of the gap between your 2 chainrings should line
up with the middle cog, or in the case of a 8 or 10 speed system, bisect
the gap between the middle cogs. Your bb should be chosen to get that
placement. After that, it's a matter of crank design: some cranks have much
more arm flare and thus wider Q. In fact, arm flare dictates Q more than bb
length, usually, unless you have gone way overboard in choosing your bb
(eg, choosing a 123 mm spindle where you need a 108; I've done that!) but
in that case you usually have problems adjusting front shifting (I did).

"Theoretically" because a few mm either way makes no practical difference.
