I've drunk the constructuer kool aide myself and I'm putting the finishing touches on a 650B P/R. I enjoyed the photos of this bike and like the interesting racks, lights and other features. But this looks like an "inexpensive" or entry-level French tourer with features mimicing the constructuer bikes of the era. Things like the chrome fork crown cap, steel crank, handlebars and seatpost, steel rims, rubber pedals, all add up to a heavy bike that looks "flashy" but probably doesn't have nicer riding qualities.
