The first and only generation of 65 Clems had straight seat stays because (I believe) they were the frame that was intended for the surplus of seat lug castings that were the original push to produce the frame in the first place. The curved seat stays were a work around to accommodate the smaller Clems use of that gargantuan seat lug. So it stands to reason that the 65 Clem H is the one true Clem!
