Thanks, Jon -- useful information. I'll stick with the BOs for now, since I
have a supply and because I am easy on tires; but good to know that we're
not locked in to one maker and model for such fat, fast-rolling road tires.

I rather think that, if I didn't need fat tires for sand -- if I were
riding on firm dirt and gravel -- I'd probably choose the Snoqualmie or
even the Barlow for the Matthews; probably the Snoqualmie since Compass
tires seem to be a bit narrower than labeled.
