I use the Walky Dog thing linked above for a medium-sized pit on my
Atlantis, but found the seat post thing to be less optimal than this:

https://www.amazon.com/Walky-Dog-Rider-Attachment-Accessory/dp/B009SMLTT2/ref=pd_bxgy_199_img_3?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B009SMLTT2&pd_rd_r=9bba0a78-8080-11e8-8137-95af0e3aa013&pd_rd_w=X7dwx&pd_rd_wg=bF4ro&pf_rd_i=desktop-dp-sims&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_p=3914568618330124508&pf_rd_r=HC7QTJ1C407DASAY35QF&pf_rd_s=desktop-dp-sims&pf_rd_t=40701&psc=1&refRID=HC7QTJ1C407DASAY35QF

which puts him a bit further back and is considerably more stable.

I was much lampooned a while back for posting pics of my pvc dogwalker
invention, which went through the rear triangle of the nitto large rack and
had a lead off each side for my (now departed) golden retrievers. It
worked ok, but a dog on either side means you need quite a bit of space. In
truth, though both me and the mutt enjoy our rides, the biggest liability
of any of these devices is the random occurrence of squirrels.

Rick.
