Vecchio’s is great. For riv-friendly service, I also really like Boulder
BikeSmith, located in the plaza near KingSoopers.

Every nearby cycling route from easy to mind-boggling is detailed in a small
black and white paperback that you can get at Boulder Bookstore in the Colorado
section. It is called The Guide to Cycling the Roads out of Boulder (on Skinny
and Fat Tires) While trying to avoid automobile traffic, getting or remaining
physically fit, & preserving the environment, etc. by Burt Struthers and Terry
Struthers. It is an amazingly good and detailed resource.

It is definitely worthwhile to make an appointment to visit Boulder Bicycle.
They don’t provide service but they have all sorts of stuff and great
conversation.

Best,

Val in Boulder CO
