I've been using an R-14 to support a Large Sackville Saddlesack on the rear of my bike for several years. There are sturdier options for a Wald 139 if you plan to load it up often. I have one on a different bike using something like this front box rack <https://www.dutchbikebits.com/luggage-racks-and-accessories/steco-transport-front-rack> that supports the entire width of the basket. The R14 is just too narrow and log to fit the basket well, IMO. Your results may vary, of course.
