I call, recall, and recall again the 42 cm one obscenely wide.

Don't forget, those Maes parallel bars' measurements are at the
bar ends, and they flare a bit.  At the hoods, the 44 cm Compass
Maes Parallel is perhaps 42 cm wide, if that much.  It's risible
to call even the 44 "obscenely wide."

I know that this is the list of wide bars, so perhaps my search

I'd like to try a Maes Parallel-type bar on the Hon Solo. I want
a 125 mm drop and 115 mm reach, or as near as makes no
difference. 38 to 42 cm width at hoods, but prefer 38 or 40.

Vo has them on sale now for $40, and I'd just order one of
theirs, but their narrowest is 42 cm, which is obscenely wide
(and I'm not small; the best-fitting frame I ever owned among
    very many was 60 X 57, both c-c.)

    Please reply offlist. Thanks.

Patrick Moore, who has Maes Parallel 38s on his 2 Riv Road
customs, and a very wide 42 on his dirt road Matthews.
