I am very much able to identify with your situation, but my experience with the Roadini thus far hasn't been exactly what I'd hoped for. I have owned a Sam Hillborne for the last 9-10 years and was looking at the Roadini to be a more stripped down, faster road ride. Unfortunately, I haven't found my speeds on the Roadini to be faster than that of my loaded up Sam H (I'm actually faster on the Sam). I've been doing a lot of tests between the two recently because I've been frustrated that I'm not getting what I'd hoped out of the Roadini. It's upsetting because so many others have had such great experiences, so I'm not sure how to come to terms with my experience, nor how to resolve the lack of speed. The Roadini is certainly comfortable (as is the Sam), but I'm somewhat regretting spending the money on a "road" bike when it hasn't resolved what I'd hoped it would.
