I ride in Berkeley and all of the East Bay... it's not uncommon to get chuffed several times each day. And as well, to hand out chuffs to fellow Riv riders I see. We are part of a not-so-secret not-so-subterranean society, that recognizes and embraces, through use, ownership, and promotion, the reverence of good things that work simply, and that simply work.
